Great place, awesome breakfast with fresh fruit, and the owner is a history lover too! Located right by the river with beautiful views of the water. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the decor makes the place feel cozy and inviting.
Rooms were rather small, and there was not much storage space for clothes. The Wi-Fi signal was weak in the room, and the television was outdated.

The old-world charm of this historic home is impressive. the location down the slight hill allows for a peaceful retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. the rooms are well-appointed with vintage yet comfortable furnishings, while the bathrooms are clean and functional. the hosts are warm, friendly and their attention to detail is exceptional, especially during their breakfast service. the view from the sitting room is a great place to laze around, read a book or watch TV.
The air conditioning unit is not strong enough to keep the room cool in very hot weather.

During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the cozy feel of the accommodations with fireplaces and comfortable beds. the breakfast provided was filling and delicious, with homemade pastries and fresh coffee. the location was convenient, as it was within walking distance of several attractions.
The hotel did not provide much entertainment or activities during Christmas season, and the decorations were lackluster. the staff was not very attentive to our needs or requests.
